"I employed the Conflict Training Company approx 3 years ago to deliver Conflict Management Training to approx 30 frontline staff who work for Sheffield City Council. The staff concerned work in First Point which is Sheffield City Council's 'One Stop Shop' in the City Centre for face to face access with customers.
First Point is a large facility and sees 100s of 1000s of customer visits per year. The vast majority of these are peaceful and law abiding but a very small number are aggressive and occasionally violent.
First point staff had recently been subject to a number of conflict situations and had expressed concern at their ability to manage such situations. One word describes the training - 'Excellent'. I would have no hesitation in employing the Conflict Training Company again, nor would I hesitate to recommend them to others.
Staff enjoyed the trainer’s teachings, techniques and anecdotes and more importantly the learning stuck. Staff confidence greatly increased and the handling of conflicts in First Point greatly improved. Considering what was achieved it was excellent value for money in my opinion.
I would not hesitate to employ The Conflict Training Company again."
